Teen Beginning Dance Technique with Sophia Fatouros, ages 9-16

Teen Beginning Dance Technique is a dance class for those young people who want to learn some dance basics, whether to help them in musical theatre, or to continue studying various dance styles. We will include a warm-up highlighting various modern dance styles as well as Ballet terminology, which is often used across dance styles, then move across the floor with traveling steps for coordination and rhythm, and finish with a short sequence or dance combination that we will put together over the four classes. At the end of this session, the teacher will give each student information about the appropriate dance classes they may attend to further their interest and teach their goals.
