While we recommend students commit to at least a session for optimal learning, we understand that some need a more flexible weekly schedule. Here are our flexible attendance options:
Save $$ by signing up for the semester! Receive the lowest rate per class by joining us for the full semester.
Session registration is for those students that would like to commit/pay for a semester in halves.
FlexiPass is for our adult classes, for those students wishing to attend a variety of classes in a varying schedule. This pass gets you a 10 classes for $180 ($18/class), to be used within two consecutive semesters (30 min classes count as a half class).
Drop-in pass is our least cost-effective option. These classes allow you the flexibility of showing up when it works for you, though be sure to check the schedule ahead of time or give us a call, as our schedule may have changed! This option is only available of adult classes, and can also be used for trying out a class- if you decide to sign up for the rest of the session, semester, or get a FlexiPass, we will deduct the drop-in amount already paid from the overall cost to ensure you receive the best rate.
Prorate For those that are joining us late, we are happy to prorate! We can prorate for a minimum of half a session.
One-time Trial class is for our children’s classes, for those students who want to try class before committing to the session. Students may purchase one trial class per class per student. This class is only valid for the first two weeks of a session. If the student decides to continue with the class within one week of attending, we can use the trial as credit toward remaining tuition.
Windfall will issue automatic refunds, minus a $15 cancellation fee, if a student needs to withdraw from any class on the advice of a healthcare professional. To receive a refund based on a medical condition, he or she should submit a note from his or her healthcare professional that clearly states that a physical condition prohibits such activity as a dance class. A refund will be issued within 14 working days.
For Adult classes: Windfall does not have a dress code, we want people to feel comfortable in their dance attire. The dance student may wear any color leotard and tights or athletic top and leggings. If hair is long, please pull it back with a headband or into a ponytail. There is currently no dance attire store in Bloomington, for shoes we suggest going online. For Contemporary, you can be barefoot; for Tap, you may wear any style tap shoe you prefer; for Hip Hop, you can wear sneakers that you keep clean for dance class and wear other shoes from the parking lot to the studio; for jazz, you can be barefoot, or wear jazz dance shoes; for ballet, you may wear socks until you get ballet slippers.
For Children’s classes: Windfall does not have a strict dress code. Students may wear any color leotard and tights. If hair is long, please pull it back with a headband or into a ponytail.
For Children’s Creative Movement classes: Dancers may wear whatever they are comfortable moving in. We ask that they not wear tutus that stick out, but they may wear little dance skirts that hang down.
For Children’s Ballet classes: Dancers may wear any color leotard and tights or they may wear athletic top and leggings, with optional little dance skirts.
There is currently no dance attire store in Bloomington, for shoes we suggest looking in Once Upon a Child, or in the Windfall Dance closet for used ballet shoes, or go online to order ballet slippers.
