Join the Company

Next Company Audition- May 24th, 12-2pm
No choreographed piece is needed. The audition will include a class, learned sequence, improvisation, and discussion.

The Windfall Dance Company is a modern dance collective. Dancers are chosen by company majority in open auditions. Dancers are versatile, positive, creative artists with strong collaboration skills. Company members are expected to take weekly company class and rehearsal as well as at least one additional technique class through our School of Dance. Members of the Windfall Dance Company enjoy free access to classes, space usage, and an opportunity to create choreography and perform with a collaborative group of talented individuals. Members also participate in various outreach programs throughout Bloomington area, contributing to our mission statement of igniting a passion for dance in our community.

Open audition consists of taking company class, learning repertoire from company dancers, and a short interview. No solo preparations required.

• Availability on Saturdays 11:30am-3:30pm regularly is required to join the company, as this is when weekly Company class and rehearsals take place.
